Spec Studio™ is a standalone application for creating IBM Cognos Report Studio documentation. It provides a description editor for quickly editing the descriptions of business, functional and technical requirements, and can export the XML schema information and descriptions to a PDF format. Assimil8 Reporter

The tool once instigated interrogates the heart and every aspect of the report to provide a professional detailed, and comprehensive document detailing every element of the chosen report, which is then available to be output in any or all of the following common formats; PDF, Word or RTF (Rich Text)

These key properties are then stored for back up, change management or distribution within the business.

Assimil8 Modeler

In this tool not only is the configuration of the developer tool (transformer model) documented but also is the resultant cube or cubes.

Like Assimil8 reporter, the documentation interrogates the heart and every aspect of the report to provide a professional, detailed and comprehensive document that covers sign on, security, data sources, dimensions, cube(s) and all views and measures.

Again the user of the tool can select their appropriate output types: PDF, Word or RTF (Rich Text).
